Jacob Jiles and his band are heading to Texas to play out a series of shows and record some new tracks. They will be at Flipnotics on Saturday July 25th in Austin, Triple Crown in San Marcos on Wednesday July 29th and Momo's in Austin on Friday, July 31st. With possibly more shows to be announced. The debut album from Brooklyn musician Jacob Jiles was released today worldwide on iTunes. The Jacob Jiles sound is Brooklyn Soul with an Indie Rock edge. His “Indie Soul” style, features sexy bass-lines locked with a classic tic-boom-crack beat. Keys and slinky, raw guitars wrap around Jacob’s warm, honest and often vulnerable vocals in his debut release “Goodbye Songs” which features the first single "She's Okay." The music from the album has already garned interest from UK clothing company "Lyle & Scott" who are using several of Jacob's songs to represent their fall fashion line.
