The members of Dandy Pants are the smartest hipster-musicians on the planet. They were all terribly precocious musical beings as children, performing their own cleverly re-imagined Mozart sonatas and Stones songs at very, very, very early ages.  Tragically, however, they grew up in harsh and unforgiving environments, which only made them cling all the more to the music in their bones.

As soon as they left school they each ran away to New York City, where they experimented with every manner of depravity possible on meager, terribly bohemian budgets.  Life in the fast lane and exposure to other artistic creatures and sexy freaks helped them develop their singular, smart, hip sound.  Dandy Pants music can be described as intellectual elitism combined with sexual radicalism, with things like melody, harmony and rhythm thrown in, that's right - melody, harmony and rhythm.  They sound like every group you already love, if every group you already love was just a little smarter, and hipper, and more bohemian.
